Depends on the part. Some were used on the CJs and others even used on the TJs. Most ’87-’95 parts will work, but again, it depends on the part.
Certain parts were single years, others ran the entire production run. Some lasted into the TJ line…..
Moose is correct, anything 87-95 other years depending on the part.
As mentioned it depends on the part. The CJ was built up until 1986 and the YJ was built from 1987-1995 and then the TJ took over in 1997 – until 2006. The suspension was changed to a coil/link setup in 1997 so nothing from that era will fit your YJ. The engine was changed in 1991(?) from the 4.2L inline 6 cylinder to the 4.0L inline 6. Considering you have the 1992 YJ then it appears anything from that year forward “may” work on your YJ’s engine. I know they changed a lot of things during that time so you’d have to get more specific. The interior is about the same – anything from 1987 to 1995 should be interchangeable and I guess some of the CJ stuff would fit as well because I don’t think they changed the tub all that much. I know there is a big difference between the TJ and YJ tubs so that’s out.
